The VA-006 is a VA series V-ring seal moulded in nitrile (NBR) rubber, suiting a shaft diameter of 5.50 – 6.50mm. Seal dimensions: inside diameter 5mm, outside diameter 9mm, height 3.7mm.

A V-ring is an all-rubber axial seal that stretches onto and rotates with the shaft, its flexible lip pressing axially against a counterface to exclude dirt, dust, splash water and other contaminants. It works as a highly effective secondary seal, protecting bearings and oil seals in dusty or wet conditions, and can be fitted without dismantling the shaft by simply stretching it into position. The VA profile is the narrow, low-profile type. Nitrile (NBR) offers excellent resistance to oils, greases and water with a working temperature range of approximately -40C to +100C; also available in Viton (FKM) for higher temperatures.
