The ORC-7MM is a length of O-ring cord with a 7mm cross section, extruded in Nitrile (NBR) 70 Duro. O-ring cord is cut to length and joined (glued or vulcanised) on site to create custom-size O-rings, making it ideal for large-diameter or non-standard seals that are not available off the shelf, and for emergency repairs.
Nitrile (NBR) is the most widely used O-ring elastomer, offering excellent resistance to petroleum oils, hydraulic fluids, greases and water, with good compression set and abrasion resistance. Compatible with most mineral-based hydraulic fluids, with a working temperature range of approximately -40C to +120C.
