Viton (FKM) fluoroelastomer offers outstanding resistance to high temperatures, petroleum oils, fuels and a wide range of chemicals, far exceeding nitrile in heat and chemical resistance. Typical operating range approximately -20C to +200C. O-rings are the most common and cost-effective seal for static and dynamic applications, seating in a groove to form a reliable barrier against fluid or gas leakage.
