The 1000-1500-250TCV is a rotary shaft oil seal with a 1.000″ bore (shaft), 1.500″ outside diameter (housing) and 0.250″ width, seal type TCV, with a Viton (FKM) sealing lip.

Rotary shaft (oil) seals retain lubricant in the housing and exclude dirt, dust and moisture, with a spring-loaded flexible lip running against the shaft to maintain a positive seal as the lip wears. They are fitted into the housing bore with the lip facing the fluid being retained.

Viton (FKM) offers outstanding resistance to high temperatures, oils, fuels and aggressive chemicals, far exceeding nitrile where heat or harsh media are involved.
